Dear Sir,,
In answer to your letter of the 21st inst, I
have the pleasure of forwarding a Doctor'scertificate, for
which he examined me on the 27th; I greatly appreciate
your kindness in atating all the conditions regarding the
pay and things general in Hong Kong I have always had a
longing to return to the police force ever since I was
invalided through War Service, and more so since my health
has improved. With reference to my police record I
unfortunately lost the certificate which was given to me when leaving for England with other of my personal
belongings
